Happy Birthday Amy
I just traipsed home after spending time in my favorite den of debauchery. I decided to take a nice hot shower to unwind. For some reason Amy Winehouse came to mind, and then I remembered that she is a Virgo so her birthday must have just passed or be coming up soon. So after slipping on my jamas I Google to find out when her birthday is. It is today! September 14th. Now I haven't listened to Amy in forever, so I have no idea why it was made clear to me that today is her birthday. Nor why it is important for me to make a post about it since I haven't made any posts on here since July. But it is, and so I am. I was also called to use my Dark Angels tarot. Perhaps because Amy is a beautiful dark angel.

I have chosen to select the Ace of Cups. I pray that Amy has transitioned to a beautiful new state of being that is filled with peace, contentment and love. That she realizes how deeply she touched so many hearts, and that she is missed both body and soul. RIP sweet Amy.
Since either iPad sux or I'm just not tech savy, I am not able to post the video I want to, so here is the link to a beautiful duet she performed with Tony Bennett as well as a link to the post I made last year when she passed.

RIP Sweet Amy Winehouse
I just now heard that Amy Winehouse is dead.... WTF.... I am surprised at how upset I am, but I can't seem to stop crying. My heart is so broken. Last night I drew a card from my Faulkner deck before I went to bed to see what today may hold. Needless to say I was not pleased when I got The Tower. And here it is. A beautiful, talented-beyond-words, 27 year old woman who's life was snuffed out like a candle flame. I fucking hate drugs. I hate what they do to the people who take them and to those of us who love them.
* Please note, many tarot readers feel that predicting death is highly unethical. I tend to agree, as we are human. Though it works through us and is in us, we not God/Goddess/The Divine. Each and every human we may read for has free will as does each and every human they come in contact with, and that is a huge part of why card eadings are not set in stone or an exact science. Can one see how The Tower applies in this situation? Sure. This is an extremely shocking event that has come out of the blue today and has been extremely upsetting. But to predict actual mortal end of life, it would take a hell of a lot more cards than just this one. And again, as the scripture says, we know not the hour. So my advice, do not ever predict physical death. If you truly feel a client is in danger, THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK and choose your words VERY carefully!! Like saying that you see they need to be sure to lock their doors and don't take foolish chances while driving or walking alone, or swimming, or they need to go to a medical doctor for a check up, ect. In my opinion,do yourself a favor and don't do it.

Bask In the Deliciousness- Day 45
Here we have a woman on the 7of pentacles who has climbed a tree to pick a gorgeous basket of shiny, bright red apples. She closes her eyes as if to envision all of the glorious creations she can make with them. Will she make apple pie like her Aunt Amy used to make for the holidays? Will she cut them into slices and serve them with havarti and a nice Pinot Grigio? Does she take the seeds and use them for healing magic? I can literally hear Abraham Hicks in my head saying to" bask in the deliciousness of creation." looking at this card I'm reminded to take stock of the many blessings to have manifested in my life and have patience for the ones yet to occur.
